Hello, I'm Aedh. I'm middle-aged, a genetically-programmed contrarian in all fields of life, and I live near where the story's set. I've written novels before this, and undoubtedly if the Reaper spares me there'll be novels after these, too. I haven't lived in a house with a TV since--with a few brief interludes as a roomer--1968. I don't belong to any political party because the only one I'd be willing to join is illegal in the United States, and I have a brace of college degrees which proved to be completely useless until I started writing.
